Spotlight: Claimed by the Alpha Dolphins by Lyra Fawn
I want to give everyone a heads-up that on Friday I'm going to be making a big announcement. Stay tuned!! Until then, let's welcome Lyra Fawn!
Synopsis:
Two brawny surfers from a foreign realm hold a secret that only she will share...
Thrust into a web of intrigue, Mona finds herself at the center of a centuries old conflict between two rival pods of dolphin shifters known as the Dolphinae. Marked as a 'Descendant of Neptune', she first catches the eye of Lucan, a dark and handsome prince who admires her curves. But when his blond and regal companion, Dario, lays claim to her, the two suitors insist upon a duel of honor. However, a greater danger lurks beneath the sea, and Mona discovers she must reconcile the passion of the two alpha dolphins, or watch their entire race be destroyed.
'Bound to the Sea' is the introductory 18,000 word serial installment to the BBW paranormal romance, CLAIMED BY THE ALPHA DOLPHINS.
Explicit language and mature, uncensored love scenes are featured throughout. Periodic moments of romance, intimacy and lovemaking involve multiple partners actively participating in their human or supernatural forms. Discretion is advised as this novella is only for sophisticated readers over the age of 18."
Advance Praise:
"Shining New Talent... I have to say kudos to the author for building such great scenes in the reader's head. I cant wait for the next installment." ~April R. Symes (Reviewer on Goodreads and Amazon)
Author Interview:
Can you describe your book in one sentence?
This book is an erotic, steamy adventure with two alpha dolphin shifters.
What makes your book so different from all the books out there?
Of course, the most obvious characteristics would be the dolphin shifters and the marine environment. The book is also definitely high adventure. The stakes are quite high for the characters.
For those who might consider reading your book, what would you tell them to expect?
For the entire series, I am focusing as much on world building as I am on the romance and erotica. I think readers are conditioned to expect more these days. I think of serials as a chance to create a mini-series with an epic plot very much like Shogun, Roots or Game of Thrones. And, of course, I love the freedom of writing in the erotica genre because it allows me to include as much sex as I like.
Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I have an outline for the entire series. Moreover, I also outline each book. It's essential if you want to have a cohesive plot. However, I don't outline the romantic moments or the sex scenes. I feel these have to be written from the heart.
What inspired you to become a writer?
I don't think I had a choice. Writing chooses you. Basically, I always have a story running around in my head. If I don't get those ideas out on paper, I start to feel a little crazy. Finally, I decided to publish a few of my stories to see if anyone else would enjoy them.
What is one book you wish you had written?
Gone with the Wind. Okay, it's not erotica, but the story has been imprinted on my brain since childhood: an epic, storyline with compelling, unforgettable characters.
Your thoughts on receiving book reviews - the good and the bad -
Everybody, myself included, prefers good reviews. And luckily, it appears that my Claimed by the Alpha Dolphins series has already found a few fans. I don't worry about the bad reviews. Everybody has a right to his or her own opinion. And some of the greatest books are extremely divisive.
How do you market your work? What avenues have you found to work best for erotica?
I'm not much of a marketer, I'm afraid. I'm trying to connect with people who love the same things that I do. Perhaps that will pay off and maybe it won't. But I would prefer to spend my time communicating with fans and other people who love erotica.
Will you have a new book coming out soon? Can you tell us about it?
Sure. The next installment in the Claimed by the Alpha Dolphins series is due out any day now. I'm currently working on the final edits. It will be titled: Desired by the Deep.

Vacation Arrest by Alice Dark
Last time we heard from Spanking101 as she plead her desire to read more lesbian anal erotica. Given her passion for this genre, I asked Spanking101 to recommend a book to me which encompasses her favorite lesbian anal scenes. I decided to read Vacation Arrest based on her recommendation, although Spanking101 loves most of Alice Dark's books.
Genre:
BDSM / Dubious Consent
Amazon Book Description:
Join two women when take off on an all-expenses paid vacation across country, but wind up on the wrong side of the law when they speed through the small town of Springton, Alabama. Katherine and Lindsay soon find out that justice is erotically different in the South, and the women have a choice: six months in jail, or accept whatever punishment local law enforcement decides upon. Enjoy Katherine’s and Lindsay’s sexy romp through humiliation, anal play, caning, and submission, when male and female officers teach these women a lesson in obediance! The story is F/M/f/f and is definitely for Adults Only.
My Review:
What starts out as a couple of horny girls headed off on a road trip takes an interesting turn when a cop pulls them over for speeding. It is clear the police in these parts have a thirst for playing dirty and are not afraid to use their position of power to get exactly what they want. With this being said, Vacation Arrest has a few different taboos that add to its erotic recipe. Not only does it have questionably consensual sex scenes (which you all know I love), and anal sex complete with butt plugs, but it also has submission to authority. All I can say is there would probably be a lot more criminals if this was truly how law enforcement was handled. Alice does a great job with the progression within this novelette, leading her readers to an intense spanking and anal sex finale which will leave you wanting more.

Guest Post: Where is All the Lesbian Anal Sex in Erotica? by Spanking101
I would like to take a moment to welcome Female Spanker to this blog with an ORIGINAL guest post, first appearing here!!
Christina, I wanted to first thank you for allowing me to be a guest spanker, I mean a guest speaker on your blog. ☺
For those who know me on twitter, I am Female Spanker. My actual name is Lyndsey. For those who don't know me, I'm a lesbian female from the USA. Who is a switch. I enjoy being spanked, and I also love being the spanker. I love sharing photos of lesbians, spankings, and especially butts and holes. I am obsessed with the female butt. I have been ever since I was a young kid. Okay enough about me...
I love reading lesbian erotica. You will never catch me reading straight erotica. It just does not interest me one bit. Some authors really know how to write females falling in love with one another. When it gets down to the sensual and sexual part, it can get pretty damn good. Unfortunately, I believe most authors do not write enough about lesbian anal. Yes, I said it: lesbians having fun with their butts and their holes. Sometimes authors do write about lesbian anal sex. But, they write only about five minutes worth of reading. Then it's all over. Just as I start getting excited, I get devastated and frustrated when they leave out the butt part. I know back in the past it was extremely taboo to have any intercourse when it came to anal. That it was an "exit" only hole. However, I have never seen it as an "exit" only. It's one of the most sensual places on the female body. Women can "get-off" with only anal sex as intercourse.
Ask yourself a question: If you read in a novel a women was giving another women a rim-job (licking the hole and around the hole) wouldn't that turn you on? Seeing a female stick her tongue in another female's hole....is that a yes? Would you be like, Wow! That's hot!?
Or even better yet, licking whipped cream out of there?
What about fingers? Wouldn't you start getting excited if you read how one female stuck her hand in some lube, then grabbed the tube of lube and squirted on and in her butt. Then poked, prodded, pushed and pulled inside with her fingers? One finger then two, and so on?
What about toys? Ever heard of a butt-plug? Anal beads? Dildos? Strap-ons? Wouldn't it be hot reading about anal beads or a butt-plug going in? How about a women using her strap-on and going to town inside her girlfriend's butt?
If any of this appeals to you, why do we not have enough of this in lesbian erotica?
I would love to see lesbian anal sex become a broader genre in erotica, and I'm sure there's a significant audience for this kind of material.

Wild Wild Wives by NC Simmons
Genre:
Swinger/BDSM
Amazon Book Description:
(This is book 2 of 5 in "The Chronicles of Staffordshire" Series - REVISED EDITION - MAY 2014)
The Paulson Princesses finally have their man! Lena, Lenore, and Rory are now a happy little ménage à trois, making love here, there, and everywhere as the urge strikes. The threesome has forged a blissfully depraved little family and nothing will ever tear the three lovers apart or strain their eternal bond.
Except, perhaps, for the "M" words.
Mistress, Marriage, and Mommy.
It seems Rory doesn't know that his future wife has a cracked brain and Lena can't tell him about Lenore's little problem without betraying her sister's trust. The Guardian Girl has a few more top-secret dirty jobs to do before she can release Lenore to Sonia's protective care and the sexual tar pit of Staffordshire's dungeon.
Lena also knows she can't be a third wheel in Rory and Lenore's bed forever. Once they marry, the Master and Mistress will want to start a family. It's only a matter of time before Lena must find her own way in life and love. The Wild Child needs a Prince of her own to sweep her off her feet. She needs a big, cuddly, soft-spoken Prince with a gift for the perfect cup of coffee and a HUGE crush on "The most beautiful tennis player in the world."
And as the estate prepares for the birth of the next generation of Paulson Sisters, a mysterious young woman will visit The Master and his Mistress and teach them the real meaning of the word, "Oneness."
The saga of Staffordshire continues. The estate's "Wild, Wild Wives" will continue their wicked, libido-exploding ways!

My Review:
I would venture into saying that Wild Wild Wives is not a piece of erotica because it's a story that's conveying more depth than the erotic genre is intended to portray. While there is a lot of adult scenes within this book, I would not have called most of them sexy, but rather intriguing. Wild Wild Wives explores the variety of ways love can grow and be portrayed.

One stylistic touch that I enjoy with Simmons' writing style is how she describes her characters in her narration. This is representative in the nicknames the two superstar lovers give each other "Wild Child" and "Freaky Baby." But, Simmons applies this narration technique throughout her novels. It's a fun way to build depth and describe her characters.
Speaking of her characters, Simmons' does an excellent job of creating a vivid painting of them. I can practically hear their voices through in their mannerisms in their dialogue. Even though Lena and Lenore have striking similarities (that doesn't stop at their similar names), each of these girls stands independently on her own, the difference of which I can practically hear in their names.
If you're looking for a beautifully written, thought provoking Adult novel, this would be a good choice for you.

Guest Post: Erotica & Religious Guilt by NC Simmons
I want to welcome Simmons back to this blog! Last time I reviewed Guardian Girl and hosted an author interview. Today Simmons is back for a guest post! This article first appeared on Simmons' Blog Risque Reveries.
Erotica & Religious Guilt
You wouldn’t know it from reading my books, but I’m a Christian.
That’s right. I released two books chock full of sexually explicit scenes, (with four even smuttier books on the way!), I blog at a site I call, “Risque Reveries,” and I still call myself a Christian.
I don’t profess to be a good Christian, just that I happen to be one.
Most rational people would say that authoring erotic fantasies and living a Christian life are in fundamental conflict. That’s especially true when it comes to writing about BDSM, swinging, and other forms of adultery. The Christian Bible is awash in passages that speak to the evils of lust, promiscuity, and “unnatural relations.” Christians are also encouraged not to cause others to “stumble,” which you could argue every single one of my fantasies does since they depict men and women living in open marriages, swapping, and getting intimate with people they barely know.
I should feel guilty about the debauched state of my mind. I should stop and consider that the words in my books might make someone on the receiving end have an unholy erotic fantasy, doing their own strokin’ and pokin’ as they visualize fucking (and being fucked by) the characters in my works.
So why don’t I feel guilty? Why do I continue writing erotica if I know it’s “wrong?”
Could it be that we are all born sexual creatures with the natural urge to copulate and populate? After all, if you believe that “God” is the creator of all living things, it’s seems obvious that “God” designed us for sex. However you describe the way the two sexes came to be a roiling stew of testosterone and estrogen, cock and pussy – evolution or divine design – our bodies are formed to experience the mind-scrambling beauty of orgasm over and over and over again. God created us with complementary physiology, each equipped to fulfill the natural urges of a member (or members) of the opposite sex. That urge is not limited to heterosexual partners, either. As a bi-sexual woman I have equal cravings for pricks and pockets. Whether by an accident of in-utero programming or as an expression of an animal nature, I hunger for endless, sweat-soaked, shriek-inducing, cum-spurting fucks, whether given to me by men or women, though preferably by my hubby.
Sadly, that word makes most Christian’s cringe. “Fuck.” My faith-centered mind should feel horrible referring to the beauty of sex as getting “fucked.” On it’s face that word lacks the tenderness of the phrase, “making love.” Nevertheless, the sad truth is I do like to get fucked. I especially like to get fucked hard! When it comes to the pinnacle of sexual fulfillment, nothing gives me more joy than being on the receiving end of my husband’s penis when he fucks me to the point of a blackout.
I understand why “God” wants us to keep our minds pure. For people who have a hard time differentiating fantasy from reality, it’s just one small step from a masturbatory fantasy to acting out that fantasy in a way that could destroy a relationship. There are some who, by their very nature, are inclined to stray. If such people read my books they might come away imagining I’ve somehow given them license to do so. Notwithstanding the fact that my stories are filled with spouse swapping and stiffy stabbing, I’m obsessed with bringing every ounce of my passion and energy to spicing up my monogamous marriage with my long-suffering hubby.
There are those in my community of faith who will tell me that that my spiritual walk is weak. They would argue that my commitment to godly sexual purity is frail. It would be hard for me to argue with them.
All I know is that I find no guilt in letting my fantasy mind run free, especially if it feeds and fuels my intimacy with my forever lover, my husband.
Now if you’ll pardon me, I just imagined my husband doing me doggie style and I’m starting to feel really wet. Now where did I put that vibe…?
